Brenda Jeschke is an award winning quilter,
quilt teacher, and quilt show judge. She has been creating quilts for more than 33 years, teaching quilting classes for 24
years, and judging quilt shows for more than 18 years. Brenda does programs, lectures, and workshops for quilt guilds around
the Texas and Louisiana area.
exhibited her quilts at the Ziegler Museum in Jennings, LA and has had a quilt featured in Karen McTavish’s book “Mastering
the Art of McTavishing”. Two of her quilts have been in Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine and she has written a technique
workshop on binding for Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine.
Brenda’s quilting awards are from local,
regional, and national quilts shows, including the National Quilting Association, The Applique Society, Dallas Quilt Celebration,
and numerous quilt shows throughout the state of Texas. She is a member of the National Quilting Association,
the Applique Society, the American Quilter’s Society, and the Quilter’s Guild of East Texas. She has chaired and
co-chaired the Azalea Quilt Show in Tyler for several years in the past.
Brenda lives on a farm in Buffalo along with her husband, where
she enjoys her farm work along with gardening. Her other interest are cross-stitch, hardanger embroidery, silk ribbon embroidery,
