Peggy Johnson presented her quilt, entitled The Aggie Quilt which was quilted by Margo Pieper. Peggy said “My son has requested an A&M quilt for years.
He will finally get it this Christmas. Margo quilted special Aggie words
and school song lyrics into her design. He is going to love it.” The pattern is a simple Irish Chain with some pictures used as the block centers.

Sandra Grogan presented her quilt, entitled Wheel of Mystery, which she quilted.
Sandra made the quilt from a John Flynn kit which she purchased on EBay. It
was pieced at her /bee retreat.

Lish Croes presented her quilt, entitled Huntsville Blues, which she quilted.
Lish said, “I made a thank you quilt for my daughter’s roommate.
Her two roommates pushed her in her wheelchair all over SHSU. Kelcie loved
black, midnight blue and silver, so I came up with these 12 fat quarters. The
pattern was called Wickedly Simple Quilt which she got off the Internet.

Paula Byrd and Brenda Motl presented two quilts which were made from fabric donated by KAQG Retreaters (2007). Both were pieced by Paula Byrd and Brenda Motl and quilted by Paula. The quilt is entitled Tropical Breeze and was made
from a Fons & Porter pattern.

Margaret Erickson presented her quilt, entitled Steven’s Cubbies which was quilted by Mary Burrell. Margaret said, “My son wanted a quilt with Chicago Cubs on it, so I finally found some Cubs fabric. I built around the center piece to make it look like a baseball field and appliqued
in the four corners. It is his Christmas present.”

Rebecca Ward presented her quilt, entitled T-Shirt Quilt which she quilted. Rebecca
said, “This is a commission for a lady who wants it for this Christmas for her adult son. These are his T-shirts. She pieced the top and machine quilted
it. The only thing left is the binding.”
